Student 着装规范: Policy JICA

Harrison School District 2 is committed to a learning environment that is safe, conducive to high student achievement, and free from unnecessary disruption. The District’s dress code helps to establish a minimum standard of dress for all schools. It is expected that students follow the uniform guidelines for their school. Individual school principals in conjunction with the school accountability committee may develop their dress code policies that meet the guidelines set forth by board policy. Exemptions to this dress code for special occasions or personal considerations are up to the discretion of the school principal.

The following clothing is appropriate for school:

  • 服装 that is worn as designed and covers all private parts of the body including but not limited to the stomach, 臀部, 胸部, and undergarments.
  • Sunglasses and hooded sweatshirts (hoodies) as a head covering may be worn only outside the building, but not when participating in physical education classes, unless weather conditions are such that head coverings are authorized.

Please notes that there will designated days and opportunities for students fun dress days for various reasons (School Spirit Week, Panorama Pride Day, 体育, 等.) The principal will notify students in advance of these earned days.

We have a required student dress code for the following important reasons.

  • Dressing appropriately for school unites us as a community.  When you look at a group of students in Panorama, you see a powerful visual statement of our professional community.
  • Our students make a commitment when they wear clothing appropriate for school; they agree to meet or exceed the school’s high expectations and to focus on their learning.
  • Panorama students look professional when they arrive at school.  Our students come mentally prepared for school and “dressed for success.”

If a student arrives at school in violation of the dress code, they will be asked to correct the situation immediately. If it cannot be corrected, a phone call home will be made. The parent/guardian may be asked to bring appropriate clothing to school. If violations become consistent, the student will receive a consequence.
